To mark the 96th anniversary of the State Audit Office, the State Audit Office commended its cooperation partners, whose responsiveness and professionalism contributed to the work of the State Audit Office significantly in 2018. The State Audit Office awarded the Certificate of Recognition to Prof. Dr. sc.soc. Anda Rožukalne from Riga Stradins University and the City for People Association.
Ms Anda Rožukalne was awarded with the Certificate of Recognition for major and professional contribution to the development of the analytical chapters of the audit report “Is Public Procurement Planning and Implementation Organised Purposefully?” by providing an understanding of the theoretical aspects of the definition of public procurement, best practice in public procurement implementation, and foreign experience.
The City for People Association is awarded with the Certificate of Recognition for purposeful, responsible and professional co-operation with the State Audit Office during audits by increasing efficiency and impact of auditing by means of supporting the State Audit Office in audit evidence evaluation during evidence collection stage, and promoting and explaining the audit results in the public space actively and professionally.
Government auditor Eva Vorona received the Certificate of Recognition for her creative approach and significant contribution to the operation of the State Audit Office.
The Certificate of Recognition of the State Audit Office was established in 2016. It is awarded to appreciate the significant contribution of the officials, employees and cooperation partners of the institution to the achievement of the objectives of the State Audit Office.
