Summary of activities performed |
As the member of the Council
- approval of strategies, annual work plans, internal regulatory enactments,;
- review of complaints on audit department decisions, by which an audit report or opinion has been approved.
As the Head of the Third audit Department
- planning, management and organization of the work of the Third Audit Department including development of annual work plan of the department, performance of the audit activities according to the annual work plan, auditing standards and audit methodology.;
- development of documents to the Parliament and Cabinet of Ministers;
- preparation of 16 financial audit reports on annual reports of The Ministry of Welfare, The Ministry of Health and The Ministry of Children, Family and Integration Affairs, 48 legality and performance audits on various institutions of the Republic of Latvia including parallel audits with the Chamber of Accounts of the Russian Federation.
- participation in the INTOSAI working group Economic Regulation and Public Private Partnership.
- Management of the cooperation project “Support to the Supreme Audit Institution of Georgia in performance of the financial audits”.
- Representative of the State Audit Office of Latvia in the EU Contact Committee audit information network on Lisbon Strategy/Europe 2020.

On behalf of the Ministry of Finance reports have been prepared on the influence of laws, legal acts, instructions and other regulatory enactments of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Special budget project of social insurance for the Ministry of Welfare in 1999 and 2000 has been prepared.
Basic budget, special social insurance budget and health care budget projects for the Ministry of Welfare in 2001, 2002 and 2003 has been p of the rk on Lisbon Strategy/Europe 2020a nts of Russian Federationthe annual work planprepared.
EU Phare projects in the Ministry of Welfare and the Ministry of Health have been controlled.
Analyzed reports of The Ministry of Welfare and The Ministry of Health about budget spending.
Prepared reports about the money flow calculation between European Union and Latvia
