The audit aimed at verifying whether the civil protection policy defined in the country could ensure the establishment of an effective civil protection and disaster management system according to the best practice recognized in the European Union and the adopted laws and regulations.
Unfortunately, the audit conclusions are negative because the civil protection and disaster management system is largely a neglected area and, in general, the civil protection system does not have the prerequisites for effective disaster management and crisis management.
