Network for Ethics

The EUROSAI Network for Ethics (N.ET) was established at the end of 2021 aiming to promote theoretical and practical research on the challenges of ethical governance and integrity in supreme audit institutions, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge among supreme audit institutions.

The participation of the State Audit Office in the Network for Ethics provides an opportunity to both improve and share Latvia’s practice regarding the implementation of ethical issues in the management and audit work of the institution, as well as to participate in evaluating the level of ethics and integrity of other supreme audit institutions.

In January 2020, the State Audit Office moderated the self-assessment of the ethics and integrity management system of INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee (IntoSAINT) for colleagues from the Finnish Supreme Audit Institution. In 2020, such a self-assessment was also performed in the State Audit Office.
